Red Carpet Mom Rachel Roy (daughter Ava is 11 and daughter Tallulah is 2) is jet-setting this holiday season. The fashion designer told WWD.com that she hoped to get a private jet for Christmas, and she plans to spend New Year's Eve in Jamaica with her daughters.

Red Carpet Mom Reese Witherspoon (daughter Ava is 11 and son Deacon is 8) is engaged! EW.com reports that the 34-year-old actress is officially engaged to her boyfriend of about a year, Jim Toth, a 40-year-old agent. Congrats, Reese!

Natalie Portman is Expecting

Red Carpet Mom Natalie Portman just announced that she is engaged and pregnant with her first child. The actress's publicist confirmed that Portman is engaged to ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied, who she met on the set of her latest movie "Black Swan." Portman is nominated for both a Golden Globe and a SAG for her role in the movie. Looks like 2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Portman!

Trimming the Tree in Style

Red Carpet Mom Tory Burch (twin sons Henry and Nicholas are 13 and son Sawyer is 9) tells WWD.com what she plans to do this holiday season. The award-winning fashion designer plans to take her boys to Mexico with her mother, her brothers and their families. Burch explains her favorite Christmas tradition is trimming the tree with her sons. She said she was thrilled that they only broke 4 ornaments this year. We can relate!:)

Country Strong

Red Carpet Mom Gwyneth Paltrow (daughter Apple is 6 and son Moses is 4) stars in "Country Strong" which opens in select theatres today. Paltrow stars as country singer Kelly Canter, who is trying to rebuild her career after being sent to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. The movie will be released everywhere on January 7th.

Red Carpet Mom Amy Adams (daughter Aviana is 7 months) is a hot topic of discussion. Adams, nominated for a Golden Globe and a SAG for best supporting actress for her role in "The Fighter," is not a stranger to being nominated, but is to winning. The 36-year-old actress has been nominated for many awards including SAG Awards, Golden Globes and even an Oscar for her roles in "Junebug," "Enchanted" and "Doubt." Maybe this will be Amy's year ....

SJP on Board for NYE

Red Carpet Mom Sarah Jessica Parker (son James Wilkie is 8 and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha are 18 months) is set to join the cast of "New Year's Eve." With all the recent celebrities joining the cast, including Parker, the movie is sure to include many familiar faces.

Red Carpet Mom Sofia Vergara (son Manolo is 18) has joined the cast of "New Year's Eve" which is a movie following in the footsteps of "Valentine's Day." The latest ensemble film is collecting a star-studded cast which includes Vergara as well as Jessica Biel, who was in "Valetine's Day." Other celebs rumored to be considering jumping in to the "New Year's Eve" project are Robert DeNiro, Hilary Swank and Michelle Pfeiffer.

A New Star

Red Carpet Mom Reese Witherspoon (daughter Ava is 11 and son Deacon is 7) recently received a star on Hollywood Boulevard. The Academy-Award winning actress and single mom shared the moment with her two children. The timing is ideal; Witherspoon's latest movie, "How Do You Know" will be released December 17th. The film co-stars Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson, and is written and directed by James L. Brooks.

Jewelry for a Cause

Red Carpet Mom Angelina Jolie (son Maddox is 9, son Pax is 7, daughter Zahara is almost 6, daughter Shiloh is 4, and twins Knox and Vivienne are 2) is designing jewelry to raise money for her charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. According to InStyle.com, Jolie is collaborating with former Asprey CEO Rober Procop on "a line that will be sold privately. Pieces include a 353-carat beryl pendant and a 12-carat emerald ring." Anyone for a little splurge?

Sundance-Bound

Red Carpet Mom Vera Farmiga (son Fynn is almost 2 and daughter Gytta was born Nov. 4th) should be heading to the Sundance Film Festival this January. The films included in the competition were announced this week and Farmiga's film "Higher Ground" is one of them. The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the film and also directed it. Congrats, Vera!

Kelly's New Joy!

Red Carpet Mom Kelly Preston (daughter Ella is 10 and Benjamin is 1 week!) and husband John Travolta have added a new addition to their family - baby Benjamin. The 48-year-old Preston gave birth to Benjamin on November 23rd and the baby weighed in at 8 lbs 3 oz. Congrats to Kelly!

Jolie is Back in Business

Red Carpet Mom Angelina Jolie (son Maddox is 9, son Pax is almost 7, daughter Zahara is 5, daughter Shiloh is 4, and twins Knox and Vivienne are 2) is back in business. A permit to film in Bosnia was returned to Angelina Jolie after rumors about the content of her upcoming movie were cleared. Women's groups had protested after hearing that Jolie's film featured a rape victim and rapist. The culture minister of Bosnia gave back the permit after reading a copy of the script.

Quite A Cast!

Red Carpet Mom Julia Roberts (twins Hazel and Finn are almost 6 and son Henry is 3) is in talks to star as Meryl Streep's daughter in "August: Osage County." The Harvey Weinstein project will be written by Tracy Letts, who penned the acclaimed play on which the film is based.

Pink on the Red Carpet

Red Carpet Mom Elizabeth Hurley (son Damian is 8), wore a pink one-shoulder dress on Friday (October 1st) when she and Red Carpet Mom Evelyn Lauder (she has two grown sons, Leonard and Ronald) lit the Empire State Building the color pink as part of the Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Hurley has been dedicated to the BCA campaign for 15 years.

Variety Honors A Few RCMs

Red Carpet Mom Katie Holmes (daughter Suri is 4) was one of the Red Carpet Moms to be honored yesterday in Beverly Hills at Variety's second annual Power of Women luncheon. Moms like Holmes and Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams were recognized for their individual charities as well as their charitable contributions and involvement in others' organizations. Red Carpet Mom Cheryl Hines (daughter Catherine is 6) attended the New York City premiere of "The Social Network" last night in the perfect summer-to-fall transitional outfit. Her white top, dark denim and black boots created a winning look.

Red Carpet Mom (and Red Carpet Mom-to-Be) Vera Farmiga (son Fynn is 20 months and Farmiga is expecting her second child in October) looked amazing at Monday night's 2010-11 season opening of The Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

Amy Poehler on SNL

Red Carpet Mom Amy Poehler (son Archie is almost 2 and son Abel is 7 weeks old) hosted the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. The SNL alum gave a classic opening monologue with cameos by SNL friends Justin Timberlake, Red Carpet Mom Rachel Dratch, Red Carpet Mom Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon. Underworld Contraband

Red Carpet Mom Kate Beckinsale (daughter Lily is 11) has signed on to play Selene in a fourth "Underworld" movie. This news comes just days after it being reported that Beckinsale will most likely join Mark Wahlberg in the thriller "Contraband." A remake of the film from Iceland, "Contraband" tells of a security guard and former smuggler (Wahlberg) who goes back to his old ways after running into financial problems. As far as acting being a family business, Beckinsale's daughter Lily has actually appeared as a younger version of her mother in many films, including "Underworld: Evolution."

The Whistleblower

Red Carpet Mom Rachel Weisz (son Henry is 4) made a splash at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her new film, "The Whistleblower," premiered at TIFF and stars Weisz as a police officer from Nebraska who uncovers a sex trafficking scandal being hidden by the U.N. The story is based on real-life experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac. The film also stars Vanessa Redgrave and Monica Bellucci.

Pretty Reasonable

Red Carpet Mom Demi Moore (daughter Rumer is 22, daughter Scout is 19 and daughter Tallulah is 16) has joined the cast of "The Reasonable Bunch." Moore joins Thomas Haden Church and Kate Bosworth in this comedy about sparring relatives who come together for a family wedding. Filming begins later this month.

Rabbit Hole

Red Carpet Mom Nicole Kidman (daughter Isabella and son Connor are both teenagers and daughter Sunday is 2) is making headlines for her new film "Rabbit Hole." The film will be featured at the International Rome Film Festival, which is an honor. The movie, starring Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, is about a couple with marriage problems who lose their child. The festival runs from October 28th through November 5th.

Kyra Celebrates A Win!

Red Carpet Mom Kyra Sedgwick (son Travis is 21 and daughter Sosie is 18) took home an Emmy - her very first. After being nominated since 2006 for her role in "The Closer," the 45-year-old actress won for the first time. She gave a beautiful acceptance speech, thanking her two children and her husband of almost 22 years, Kevin Bacon. Sedgwick looked radiant in a wine-colored Monique Lhuillier gown.

Emmys this Sunday!

Red Carpet Mom Julie Bowen (son Oliver is 3 and twin sons John and Gus are 15 months) must be getting ready for the Emmys this weekend. The "Modern Family" star is nominated for an Emmy, as are many of her co-stars. We look forward to the beginning of fall fashion with the Emmys Red Carpet Kickoff!

Red Carpet Mom-to-Be Christina Applegate (she is expecting her first child) stopped by to see David Letterman on set. Applegate is promoting her new movie "Going the Distance" which stars Drew Barrymore. The flirty polka dot dress Applegate wore was adorable. The 38-year-old actress looks radiant!

Loud and Close

Red Carpet Mom Sandra Bullock (son Louis is 8 months) and Tom Hanks are being considered for an adaption of "Extrememly Loud and Incredibly Close," a novel about a talented young boy on a quest after his father dies in the September 11th attacks. Bullock and Hanks would play the parents of the boy in this Stephen Daldry film.

Spy Mom

Red Carpet Mom Jessica Alba (daughter Honor Marie is 2) has signed on to star in "Spy Kids 4" as the mo mof the new young heroes. Director Robert Rodriguez is hoping this sequel will rejuvenate the franchise that began in 2001, originally starring Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara.

A Busy Month for Amy

Red Carpet Mom Amy Poehler (son Archie will be 2 in October and son Abel was born August 6th) is nominated for an Emmy this year. The SNL alum is up for Best Actress, Comedy for her role in "Parks & Recreation." The Emmys ceremony usually takes place in September, but this year it has been moved to August. The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 29th, just weeks after Poehler delivered her second child. Will she attend the ceremony? My guess is yes. Poehler's husband Will Arnett is also up for an Emmy for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on "30 Rock". Arnett is also slated to present. We wish Amy all the best! Wear something comfortable, Amy!

Gisele Under Fire

Red Carpet Mom Gisele Bundchen (son Ben will be 1 in December) recently made comments regarding her strong beliefs on breastfeeding. During an intervew with "Harper's Bazaar UK," the model said she feels all moms should be required to breastfeed their newborns for the first 6 months. She even went on to suggest that this become a law. Her comments have created such a serious whirlwind of controversy, she has posted statements to clarify her feelings on her blog.

AJ in the UK

Red Carpet Mom Angelina Jolie (son Maddox just turned 9, son Pax is 6, daughter Zahara is 5, daughter Shiloh is 4 and twins Knox and Vivienne turned 2 in July) arrived at the UK premiere of "Salt" last night wearing a flowing metallic dress by designer Amanda Wakely. The dress is a a variation on the collection of Little Black Dresses the mom of 6 has been seen while promoting "Salt." InStyle.com reports that Jolie also wore nude patent leather peep-toe platforms, specially designed for her by Ferragamo.

Baby on the Way

Red Carpet Mom-to-Be Ali Larter is expecting her first child with husband Hayes MacArthur. The "Heroes" actress is reportedly due this winter. The couple married last August in a private ceremony in Maine. Larter looks like a healthy mom-to-be, seen here out and about in West Hollywood over the weekend.

A Letterman Visit

Red Carpet Mom Julia Roberts (twins Hazel and Phinnaeus are 5 and son Henry just turned 3) stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theatre to visit with David Letterman yesterday. The actress appeared on "The Late Show" to promote her new movie "Eat Pray Love" which opens August 13th. Roberts looked tall and lean in dark jeans and a black top. Her laid-back fashion choice just proves that when you have THAT face, you can wear anything you want and still look like Julia Roberts!

Kelly and The Trevor Project

Red Carpet Mom Kelly Ripa (son Michael is 13, daughter Lola is 9 and son Joaquin is 7) attended the 10th Annual Trevor New York Summer Gala in New York City last night wearing a dusty rose dress with an exaggerated lapel. The event benefited The Trevor Project, which is the elading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

Soap Star

Red Carpet Mom Tracey Bregman (sons Austin and Landon are both teenagers) attended the Daytime Emmy Awards Nominees Reception in Beverly Hills yesterday. Bregman, a long-time "soaps" actress has been on both "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." Both shows are up for the coveted "Outstanding Drama Series." The Daytime Emmys will air on CBS at 9 pm this Sunday.

Red Carpet Mom Anne Heche (son Homer is 8 and son Atlas is 1) attended the Season 2 premiere of her ABC hit "Hung." Anne played up her fair complexion with a nude gown and simple accessories.

Red Carpet Mom Christina Aguilera (son Max is 2 ) appeared on CBS's "The Early Show" yesterday morning as part of the show's summer concert series. Christina has been promoting her new album "Bionic" although she has postponed her world tour, which had been scheduled to begin this summer.

Red Carpet Mom Jada Pinkett Smith (stepson Trey is 17, son Jaden is 11 and daughter Willow is 9) attended the Los Angeles premiere of "The Karate Kid" last night looking stunning in a short gold strapless dress. She seemed to beam as she supported her son's big night. Her son Jaden stars opposite Jackie Chan in this remake of the popular movie by the same name. The movie opens in theatres on Friday.

I Have A Dream

Red Carpet Mom Sofia Vergara (son Manolo is 17) attended the 2010 I Have A Dream Foundation Spring Gala event yesterday in New York. The actress stars in ABC's "Modern Family" and has her own foundation called "Peace and Hope for the Children of Colombia" which helps thousands of children in her country. Sofia has also donated a pediatric cancer pavilion in her native Barranquilla.

Red Carpet Mom Demi Moore (her three daughters are Rumer, 21, Scout, 18 and Tallulah, 16) attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Killers" with her husband, Ashton Kutcher. The movie, which stars Kutcher and Katherine Heigl, opens this weekend.

Babies on the Way!

Red Carpet Mom Celine Dion (son Rene-Charles is 9) has announced that she is pregnant with twins. The 42-year-old super star has been very open about her attempts to get pregnant through in-vitro fertilization, having multiple failed attempts. Through her rep, she has confirmed that she is 14 weeks along and plans to find out the sex of the babies next month. We wish Celine a happy and healthy pregnancy!

A Party for the Moms-To-Be

Red Carpet Mom Heidi Klum (daughter Leni is 6; son Henry is 4; son Johan is 3; and daughter Lou is almost 8 months) hosted a "Moms-To-Be Night Out" at A Pea in the Pod store in Beverly Hills. As the mom of ceremonies, Heidi wore a dress by English designer Jenny Packham and shoes by Christian Louboutin. The guest list included many of Hollywood's celebrity moms who are expecting. We can only imagine how fabulous the swag bags were!

Claudia Names Baby Girl

To follow up on a previous post, we wanted to share the news that Red Carpet Mom Claudia Schiffer has announced the name of her third child, a girl, who was born on Friday, May 14th. Cosima joins older siblings Caspar, 7, and Clementine, 5.
