Off to Jamaica
Red Carpet Mom Rachel Roy (daughter Ava is 11 and daughter Tallulah is 2) is jet-setting this holiday season. The fashion designer told WWD.com that she hoped to get a private jet for Christmas, and she plans to spend New Year's Eve in Jamaica with her daughters.

Natalie Portman is Expecting
Red Carpet Mom Natalie Portman just announced that she is engaged and pregnant with her first child. The actress's publicist confirmed that Portman is engaged to ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied, who she met on the set of her latest movie "Black Swan." Portman is nominated for both a Golden Globe and a SAG for her role in the movie. Looks like 2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Portman!

Trimming the Tree in Style
Red Carpet Mom Tory Burch (twin sons Henry and Nicholas are 13 and son Sawyer is 9) tells WWD.com what she plans to do this holiday season. The award-winning fashion designer plans to take her boys to Mexico with her mother, her brothers and their families. Burch explains her favorite Christmas tradition is trimming the tree with her sons. She said she was thrilled that they only broke 4 ornaments this year. We can relate!:)

Country Strong
Red Carpet Mom Gwyneth Paltrow (daughter Apple is 6 and son Moses is 4) stars in "Country Strong" which opens in select theatres today. Paltrow stars as country singer Kelly Canter, who is trying to rebuild her career after being sent to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. The movie will be released everywhere on January 7th.

The 36-year-old actress has been nominated for many awards including SAG Awards, Golden Globes and even an Oscar for her roles in "Junebug," "Enchanted" and "Doubt." New Year's Eve
Red Carpet Mom Sofia Vergara (son Manolo is 18) has joined the cast of "New Year's Eve" which is a movie following in the footsteps of "Valentine's Day." The latest ensemble film is collecting a star-studded cast which includes Vergara as well as Jessica Biel, who was in "Valetine's Day." Other celebs rumored to be considering jumping in to the "New Year's Eve" project are Robert DeNiro, Hilary Swank and Michelle Pfeiffer.

A New Star
Red Carpet Mom Reese Witherspoon (daughter Ava is 11 and son Deacon is 7) recently received a star on Hollywood Boulevard. The Academy-Award winning actress and single mom shared the moment with her two children. The timing is ideal; Witherspoon's latest movie, "How Do You Know" will be released December 17th. The film co-stars Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson, and is written and directed by James L. Brooks.

Jewelry for a Cause
Red Carpet Mom Angelina Jolie (son Maddox is 9, son Pax is 7, daughter Zahara is almost 6, daughter Shiloh is 4, and twins Knox and Vivienne are 2) is designing jewelry to raise money for her charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. According to InStyle.com, Jolie is collaborating with former Asprey CEO Rober Procop on "a line that will be sold privately. Pieces include a 353-carat beryl pendant and a 12-carat emerald ring." Anyone for a little splurge?

Sundance-Bound
Red Carpet Mom Vera Farmiga (son Fynn is almost 2 and daughter Gytta was born Nov. 4th) should be heading to the Sundance Film Festival this January. The films included in the competition were announced this week and Farmiga's film "Higher Ground" is one of them. The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the film and also directed it. Congrats, Vera!
