The actress swept the Award Show Season, winning every major award for her role in "Black Swan," including an Oscar on Sunday. However, the actress is now in the spotlight for other reasons. Dior's top designer John Galliano has been accused of making serisous anti-Semitic comments. Portman, who is a Dior brand ambassador and who happens to be Jewish, has released a statement indicating her "disgust" and "shock" in Galliano. Dior has fired Galliano.
